Yes, you truly can become the captain of your acoustic guitar. I discovered in my early days of learning that I was shy, and as a beginner I didn't feel that I was strong enough to play around other guitar players. Once I overcame this mental block and accepted was only going to get better, my rate of absorbing different techniques dramatically increased. What seemed to be overwhelming to understand and grasp at first became second nature. You'll laugh at the fact that you "didn't fully get it back then!". I promise you that 99% of people that want to play the guitar CAN play the guitar. The ones that can't are the ones who didn't apply themselves correctly, and didn't gauge their own progress. Self doubt is the main reason why people invariably stop learning an instrument, more often than not finding an excuse to mask the real reason for not following it through. Playing the guitar will become effortless, it'll be like cleaning your teeth or riding a bike. You'll play with ease and grace while your heart becomes filled with uplifting energy from the beautiful sounds you make with your acoustic guitar. Thank you for reading, I wish you every success on your guitar journey.
Be the captain of your acoustic guitar, it's perfectly possible and within your reach. |
